Small Wedding Venue in West Midlands

Curradine Barns is an idyllic setting for weddings of all sizes, from lavish celebrations for 110 guests to smaller, more intimate weddings with 50 guests. If you’re planning to invite just your closest friends and family, we look forward to helping you create a wonderfully personalised day.

Your Wedding Ceremony

Say ‘I do’ under the original oak beams of the rustic Granary Barn. Seating from 50 to 110 guests, this is a versatile space with an exceptionally romantic atmosphere. For small wedding celebrations, seating is more generously spaced, and you can enjoy a wider aisle. Should you wish to have a string quartet or pianist, there is ample space towards the rear of the barn.

With underfloor heating, the Granary Barn is cosy in the winter, while double doors open on to the courtyard in summer months.

As an alternative, you might decide to tie the knot in the great outdoors. Our beautiful Garden Gazebo is an idyllic spot for a civil ceremony in the sunshine. Set in the Farmhouse gardens, the ceremony space will be styled just for you with the amount of seating required.

Welcome Drinks

In warmer months, you might like to enjoy welcome drinks in the Courtyard. While it is an outside space, as the Courtyard is at the very heart of the venue and commands a lively atmosphere at every celebration. With smaller numbers, entertain your guests by using some of the courtyard space for outdoor games.

If the weather is inclement, we can serve welcome drinks and canapés in the stylish Bar. The perfect space for small numbers, guests can congregate around the open fire and relax before the wedding breakfast begins. At Curradine Barns, we always ensure that seating areas are arranged with your guest numbers and requirements in mind.

The Wedding Breakfast

Overlooking the Courtyard, your wedding breakfast is served in the Barley Barn with its whitewashed walls, original beams and stone floors. Rustic in style, the barn boasts a cosy ambience with twinkling fairy lights adorning the beams. While 110 can be seated here, smaller numbers merely allow for more space around and between the tables. The neutral colour scheme works as a blank canvas, lending itself to your chosen wedding style. In such a romantic setting, with doors opening on the courtyard, the more intimate weddings enjoy a truly elegant and luxurious dining experience. Many couples choose to invite fewer guests so they can spend a little more per head on the wedding breakfast. Our exclusive caterers can create the menu to suit your day – you might even choose their exceptional Gourmet Experience menu.

The level of personal commitment to our wedding day was exemplary and no words are suitable for how grateful we are for it all.

Evening Celebrations

As day turns to evening, guests can flow between the various spaces at Curradine Barns, perhaps enjoying a nightcap in the Bar, or dancing to your chosen band in the Granary Barn. With all rooms leading in to each other, guests never feel that they are in a large, disjointed venue with empty spaces. Instead, there is a feeling of warmth and celebration throughout.

And so to Bed

We know you won’t want your wonderful day to end! Alongside the Bridal Cottage, the Farmhouse can accommodate 18 adults and two children. With a smaller wedding, this means many your guests will be able to spend the night at Curradine Barns, enjoying breakfast together the following morning.
